Hammerle Finley Law Firm was founded in 1984 by Virginia Hammerle, a graduate of SMU Law School.  The practice initially focused  on banking law and business litigation for MBank,  First State Bank and small businesses in the North Texas area.   As the local population grew, so did the Firm – gradually adding practioners with areas of concentration in business law, family law, estate planning,  criminal defense and elder law.    In time, the Firm evolved in to a full-service law firm focusing on serving the needs of its community.

No case is too large or too small.  Hammerle Finley attorneys are equally comfortable  litigating a complex commercial litigation case involving $87 million, a business breach of fiduciary duty  case  with an injunction and jury verdict for  damages of hundreds of thousands of dollars, and a simple uncontested will probate.  Misdemeanor pleas or  aggravated sexual assault trials, no-asset divorces or  child custody cases, 5 page wills or lengthy trust agreements, business formation or asset sales  - the level and depth  of matters handled are as diverse as the  community it serves.
