Family law cases often involve difficult and emotional decisions.  Hammerle Finley has represented clients in divorce, modification, adoption and enforcement matters for over 25 years in Denton, Dallas, Collin, Grayson, Tarrant, Rockwall and surrounding counties.  

Attorney Craig Fowler was one of the first attorneys in Texas to obtain Board Certification in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  Formerly Judge of the 255th District Court of Dallas County (a designated family law court), Craig has tried or adjudicated literally thousands of family law cases.  He has personally tried a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, property division, modification and enforcement of orders.  Craig pioneered the use of mediation in the family courts.  He has served as a trainer for the Attorney Mediators Institute and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and mediated over 400 civil and family law cases.  Collaborative and early intervention mediation are additional cutting edge types of alternative dispute resolution in which Craig has been involved.  He has been a frequent lecturer on family law and mediation to a variety of professional organizations.  

Attorney Nancy K. Walzel has represented clients in family law matters for over 18 years.  She also served as a tenured professor of Business Law And Criminal Justice for Lamar University from 1992 through 2003.  Her well-rounded background serves to provide her clients with a wealth of knowledge and experience.   Compassionate, yet a fierce litigator, she is successful in settling a majority of her cases in divorce, modification and enforcement.    

Attorney Sharon Forbes specializes in custody, adoption, termination and CPS cases.  She has over a decade of experience handling the most complex types of cases involving children.  Passionate about children's rights, Sharon is frequently requested by Collin County Judges to handle difficult disputes between parents, grandparents and relatives.  She works hard to find common ground on visitation and child support issues.  While termination cases are often challenging, Sharon has also had the pleasure of helping family coalesce through step-parent adoptions and new adoptions.   She is on the Board of Directors of the Collin County Bar Association. 

Attorney Rob Morris has represented clients for over 30 years.  Rob has tried, mediated or helped settle hundreds of contested matters.  A member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Rob has handled divorce, adoption, guardianship, conservatorship and enforcement actions.  He has represented family law clients in appeals, motions for new trial and post-judgment matters.  Rob is an expert in special needs trusts, Medicaid planning and marital agreements. 

Attorney Dan Chern is an aggressive  trial lawyer with a penchant for swift, decisive action in divorce and enforcement cases.  Dan has litigated civil and family law matters, ranging from simple divorce cases to complex multi-party matters.  He is well versed in document-intensive, hotly disputed cases.
