Kristen M. Pannell Denton, Texas
Kristen M. Pannell currently practices in the areas of civil litigation, family law, and criminal defense in both our Denton and McKinney offices. During her career, Kristen has accumulated an extensive range of experience. Kristen’s legal career began in jury consulting, working for Robert Hirschhorn and assisting on various high-profile jury selections. As a litigator, Kristen has represented businesses and individuals in a variety of cases. She recently first chaired a complex civil case involving the internet defamation of a large company. In addition to practicing law, Kristen also teaches legal-based college courses in the areas of family law and criminal justice at Collin County Community College and the University of Texas at Arlington. Kristen was raised in the Dallas metroplex and received her high school diploma from Ursuline Academy. She went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science from University of North Texas. While seeking her undergraduate degree, Kristen also received her Basic Peace Officer license from the North Texas Police Academy. Shortly thereafter, Kristen obtained her Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan School of Law. Kristen lives off the rapidly-growing 380 Corridor and is active in the Frisco Sunrise Rotary. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and giving back to the community. Kristen regularly participates in such activities as the Carter BloodCare Blood Drive and Wills for Heroes , sponsored by the Collin County Young Lawyers Association. In addition, Kristen drafted the Texas Young Lawyers Association pamphlet concerning Protective Orders. Kristen is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Young Lawyers Association, Collin County Bar Association, and the Denton County Bar Association.
